A family owned cafe, bakery and restaurant on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall.

We predominantly cook and bake in our stone wood fired oven.

  • Breakfast is freshly baked Danish pastries, rye and sourdough breads, home made granola, fresh fruits and organic coffee.

  • The lunch menu changes each week and includes garden salads, grilled fish and vegetables from the walled garden.

  • For dinner we offer a relaxed setting for friends and family to enjoy – snacks, pizzas and daily specials with a small selection of low intervention wines, locally brewed ciders and beers.

Let us know when, and for how many people you’d like to reserve a table. We will get back to you to confirm your booking as soon as we can. Walk-in’s are also welcome.

  • From Helston take the A3083 towards Culdrose and The Lizard. Just past Culdrose, turn left at the mini roundabout onto the B3293 to Goonhilly/St Keverne. At the top of the hill (Mawgan Cross roundabout) take the third exit (do NOT go into Mawgan village) drive past Garras Primary School and keep going straight on for one mile to double lodges. Turn left where you see the large Trelowarren sign. Be very careful between the cattle grids as we have wild ponies grazing. Beware of the speed bumps. Do not follow your sat nav as it usually takes you around to Mawgan and not to our entrance drive.
